Classes are 90 minutes—please arrive 15 minutes early.
Avoid eating a big meal within 3 hours before class.
Drink plenty of water before class so you remain hydrated.
Be prepared to sweat!
Bring a water bottle, yoga mat, towel and wash cloth.
Towels and yoga mats are available for rent and purchase at the studio.
You may want to bring a change of clothes for the ride home—sweat is great for a hot studio, but not for your car seat!
Breathe normally through your nose.
Listen to the instructors as they guide you step-by-step through each pose.
Do the best you can!
Try to come as often as you can during your intro month.
Women often wear yoga shorts or capri pants and a yoga top.
Men often wear shorts, biking shorts or bathing trunks.
Dress as lightly as possible.
Cologne, perfume, scented oils or residual smoking smells are not recommended.
We welcome beginners! This is a beginner’s yoga series—all classes are 90 minutes and designed for all levels of fitness.
Anyone who is healthy enough, per his or her doctor, to do a 90-minute exercise class in a hot and humid room (about 105 degrees and 40% humidity) can participate in a Bikram class.
Children 15 and over (accompanied by an adult) may attend if they are 100% willing and able.
Do not start Bikram yoga while pregnant. We’ll see you after you have the baby!
